About
Payments sit between technology, finance, operations and customer experience.
Most of the problems live in the gaps between them. A conversion drop is a commercial problem by the end of the month. A fee structure is a product decision by the time it reaches the cashier.
TomoPay was built around practical experience running multi-provider, multi-market payment ecosystems — the commercial side, the operational side and the technical side of the same job.
Founder

Built on hands-on payments experience.
TomoPay is founder-led by Antonio Carnevale, an experienced payments leader with hands-on responsibility across payment strategy, product, commercial performance and optimisation in complex multi-brand and multi-market environments.
The experience behind TomoPay comes from solving real operational challenges: improving acceptance rates, evaluating PSP performance, negotiating processing costs, managing integrations, responding to provider incidents and improving payment journeys.
- Strategy and payment product
- Method mix and availability by market. Routing between primary, secondary and fallback providers. Deposit and withdrawal journeys, method ordering, limits, retries, redirects and decline handling.
- Provider and commercial management
- PSP selection, onboarding and performance reviews. Fee negotiation across percentage, fixed, minimum and capped structures, plus reserves, monthly minimums, settlement terms and notice periods.
- Performance and data
- Acceptance rate, customer deposit success rate, unique depositors and average transaction value, cut by PSP, market, brand, method, bank and BIN, to find where conversion is actually lost.
- Operations, risk and compliance
- Incident response and traffic rerouting when a provider degrades. Integration work with developers on callbacks, statuses and credentials. PSP onboarding, AML documentation and licence coverage.
Hands-on across card acquiring, Open Banking, wallets, vouchers, local payment methods and crypto settlement, in both regulated and international markets.
How we work
Four stages, in order.
- Review
- We look at the payment ecosystem as it actually runs — providers, routing, methods, markets, fee structures and contract terms — rather than as it is described.
- Findings
- What is costing conversion, what is costing money, and what is exposed commercially. Quantified, with the working shown.
- Priorities
- Ordered by impact against effort, because the largest problem and the most fixable problem are rarely the same one.
- Implementation
- Support through the change: provider conversations, integration work with your developers, cashier changes, and the operating routine that keeps it stable.
What we analyse
The answer is usually one level down.
Group-level numbers describe the situation. They rarely explain it. We cut performance until the number points at something specific enough to change.
Industries
Built for complex payment environments.
iGaming is an area of deep experience, but the work applies wherever payment volume, provider count and commercial complexity are high.
- iGaming
- High volume, heavy regulation, many providers per market.
- Fintech
- Payment businesses with their own downstream provider stack.
- E-commerce
- Cross-border card traffic, refunds and chargeback exposure.
- Digital platforms
- Split settlement, payouts and multi-party flows.
- Subscription businesses
- Recurring authorisation, retries and involuntary churn.
- Marketplaces
- Multiple currencies, multiple payout schedules, reconciliation at scale.
